Cami Broussard has her future all figured out. Great book. A story of a girl who thought she knew who she was but slowly started to realize that she has yet to discover not only who she is but what she wants in life. Being comfortable is always nice until you realize that there's so much more. That's when the trouble--or fun--begins! Life IS the messy bits, right? Cami can't stand Julian at first but as time goes on, Julian's presence in her life helps her see things in a new light and opens up new doors that she was scared to even approach before.
Julian comes home from Afghanistan after the loss of a half of one of his legs. Not only is he dealing with a physical change but he is also dealing with PTSD. As he slowly comes to terms with the loss of his lower leg, being home and being alive, he turns to Cami for support.
In a way, the two are both lost souls who are finding their way together and trying to forge a way to be together but chase after their own dreams. Sounds impossible. I'm actually pretty interested to see where their individual trips take them--Sabrina needs to write a book each on Cami's year abroad as well as Julian's year abroad!!
On a completely different note, I'm not going to lie...I was totally expecting something to come of Luke's text message to Taryn...! In short, it's a sweet story of young love finding their way into the real world.

About the Author
I am a former journalist who worked for the Los Angeles Daily News and other newspapersin the greater Los Angeles area. Prior to this I worked in advertising, writing ad copy for corporate travel accounts and major motion pictures. My first job out of college was as an administrative assistant to an executive chef and a food & beverage director at a Four Seasons hotel. I also spent some time working as a prep cook for Spago in Beverly Hills.
I received my Master's degree in Journalism from the University of Southern California. While in graduate school, I had the privilege of studying fiction writing under renowned author Hubert Selby, Jr., and comedy writing under famed comedian Shelley Berman. I am a past participant of the Squaw Valley Community of Writers Summer Writing Workshop.
Raised in the woods of Vermont, I now live in the greater Los Angeles area with my husband and three children. STIR ME UP is my first novel.
