Ripples (Unabridged Version) is Natalie’s story, the youngest of Tony and Claire’s children—their baby. This story first appeared in shorter form in Glamour: Contemporary Fairytale Retellings. Due to the length restriction of each novella in that anthology, many scenes in Ripples were shortened or omitted for that anthology. This unabridged edition is the entire story—double in length and—a full-length novel.

I want to say that nothing will ever compare to the Consequences series that Aleatha started off with. The bar was set so high, I fear it would never be topped. The story was so twisted, intricate and just intoxicating. I don't know what to expect with the tale of Tony and Claire's youngest daughter but it was full of just as many dark and unexpected turns. At times I hated it, hated everything about Dexter and everything about this story. But the more I read, the harder it was to put down, just completely captivated by Natalie and the twisted sub-dom relationship that was being forged. I loved it, though. There's just something to be said about Aleatha's writing and her ability to spin a tale. It was hot and erotic and mind-fuckery at its finest. Definitely a great standalone with some of the characters we've come to love from the original Consequences series.

Aleatha Romig is a New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and USA Today bestselling author who lives in Indiana, USA. She grew up in Mishawaka, graduated from Indiana University, and is currently living south of Indianapolis.
