Catching Up with the Series:
The second book in this series picks up right where the first left off. Kat is on the brink of being able to complete her life's mission to take down the family that left hers in despair. But, of course, what she didn't expect was to fall for one of the last playboys of the Steele-Jackson clans. In this continuation of Kat and Harris' story, we see the struggle and fallout of Kat's decisions up until now. I can't say I like Kat much more than I did in the first book but it was still an enjoyable read. The level of steaminess from the Steele-Jackson books is very much so present in this instalment so you won't be disappointed. The ending to this book, in true style of this author, leaves you wide-eyed, wondering "omg...but what happens!?!?"--can't wait for this saga to wrap up!
